Call :

Check :

Check means “to not bet”. You can only check when there is no bet in the league. 

Blind :

A forced bet is made by the two players at the left side of the dealer, before offering any card deal.  It may be a small blind or a big blind. 

Pot :

All bet money in a hand of poker is called a pot.

Fold :

To forfeit the cards and previously made bet.

Flop :

To flip the first three community cards at the same time after the dealer has burned the one card. 

River :

To flip the fifth and final community card.

The prime strategies you need to follow 

Poker is the game of strategy. If your opponents come forward with reasonable strategies than yours, you are at risk. Some techniques and mindful tacts you need to follow are;

  • Only play the very best of hands, or do not play every hand. 
  • Be mindful of table positions.
  • Try to guess what is the next move of other players. 
  • Folding is not losing, do not be afraid to fold.
